Evaluation of the viability of cloud hosting, assessing performance requirements of the workload, LAN and connectivity provisions, redundancy, latency and most important of all - Security.

Tying into this evaluation, the alternative routes and their viability, whether that be on-premise provisions or alternative cloud or aaS offerings. 

Deployment

Deployment of the cloud provision, often with a precursor of running a Proof of Concept (PoC).

 

As stringent as we are in the Evaluation stage, only a live environment will provide a full reflection of the viability of cloud. With any deployment we ensure testing is paramount, and that a contingency plan is in place should any deployment not achieve the minimum success criteria of the PoC.

Optimisation is the step that often gets overlooked, meaning that either costs in the cloud can spiral or become significantly over-provisioned for the requirements.

 

Or more commonly, that cloud provisions become under-utilised, as the tools provided aren’t taken advantage off or adopted in full. EquiTech help to fine tune this wherever we can, looking to optimise Cloud provisions and fine tune them.
