Infrastructure
We Design.
We Implement.
We Support.
Networking
Networking has never been more important in an infrastructure.
Every organisations has a reliance on systems that require minimal latency and high performance. Notable provisions include VOIP phone systems or heavy applications such as ERP, CRM or finance software, which are all hungry for resource and demand greater network speeds and quality of service. Often, organisations are being ill advised on the importance of their network. Equitech help to design, implement and support networks, we follow a methodology focusing on the below key areas
Speed &
Performance
With every design we assess the current and future demands of the network. Analysing whether any network traffic should have priority over less essential traffic and configuring technical designs such as dynamic routing to ensure performance and user experience is at the forefront of every network.
Resiliency
Resiliency, and redundancy are paramount. Often, the biggest single point of failure for an organisation sits in the network, as business continuity measures have been omitted. We include resiliency measures into our designs, with physical or virtual stacking solutions, and/or planning for failures or other disasters. Our goal is to limit unexpected downtime/disruption for any network, by building such measures from their inception.
Management
Unification and simplified management is our desire for every organisation. Networks can be incredibly complex when you add in numerous core and edge networks. Then extrapolate that over multiple locations which can lead to networking becoming unmanageable and a time consuming part of an infrastructure. With every design, we're looking to simplify management and time overhead for an organisation as best we can.
Security
We involve our cyber security pillar into networking designs. With heighten paranoia around how secure a network must be. We're looking to marry technologies and network designs to complement each other, so that we refrain from technology sprawl at the same time as being as best protect from a cyber security breach as we can.
Budget
We balance budgets to all of the above. As essential as networking is, with it acting as the main arteries and capillaries for a functional organisation, we understand that every organisation has finite budgets. We cater for this, looking to make trade-offs without compromising the integrity of what we've designed.
If you're implementing a new networking provision, or adding to a current setup, the items you should be considering are:
